Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a Regional HSE Business Partner to lead health, safety and environmental standards across a regional portfolio of projects, on site at multiple locations. You will work with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance and a positive safety culture.

This highly operational role involves site visits, audits, root-cause analysis and supporting continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, ISO 9001/14001/45001.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within construction, engineering, energy, infrastructure, utilities or industrial environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HSE contact for operational teams within your assigned region.
• Support implementation of HSE strategy, objectives and business improvement initiatives.
• Provide practical and proportionate HSE advice to managers, supervisors, engineers, project teams and contractors.
• Conduct planned and unannounced site inspections, audits and behavioural observations.
• Verify compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, customer standards and safe systems of work.
• Review risk assessments, RAMS, permit systems and operational controls to ensure effective risk management.
• Lead or support investigations into incidents, near misses and environmental events.
