Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Regional Support Manager to lead care homes through change, drive performance and deliver high-quality care across our English, Scottish and Welsh homes.

The role is field-based, 37.5 hours weekly, with regular travel across the UK to support leadership transitions and operational change. You will work with Regional Directors and Home Managers to stabilise services and realise measurable improvements for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN or NVQ Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care.
• Registered Manager Award or Leadership & Management Level 5 qualification, or willingness to achieve.
• Significant experience as a Home Manager or senior operational leader within adult social care.
• Demonstrable experience leading services through improvement, turnaround or operational transition.
• Strong knowledge of CQC, Care Inspectorate and/or CIW regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy and commercial performance.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on operational leadership to homes during vacancies and transitions.
• Develop structured improvement plans and implement sustainable solutions.
• Coach Home Managers and leadership teams to build capability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard resident wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors and central teams to deliver outcomes.
