Job summary

FirstPort is seeking a Property Manager to lead day-to-day management of a field-based portfolio across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. You will balance remote diary management with regular site visits, coordinating with service teams to ensure smooth operations.

You will drive cost control, stakeholder engagement and compliance with landlord/tenant laws, while contributing to the company’s growth and customer service standards in residential property management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and have your own transport.
• Experience in block management and housing estates.
• Confident communicator with residents and clients.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and landlord/tenant law.
• Able to work across multiple sites and manage a field-based portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own schedule remotely and conduct regular site visits.
• Organise and lead meetings with stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Oversee expenditure, review service charge accounts and budgets.
• Collaborate with credit control to manage debts across the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, asbestos, fire safety and water hygiene controls.
