Job summary

Creature Comforts is expanding its People & Culture team and seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to shape and embed our people strategy across multiple sites in London and the Home Counties.

The role is mostly field-based, requiring regular travel to clinics; you’ll design and deliver management training, handle employee relations, and partner with leaders to drive performance, probation, culture, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRBP/People Partner experience in multi-site settings.
• Hands-on employee relations experience — disciplinary, grievances, absence and performance cases.
• Confident and capable of designing and running training yourself.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
• Ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
• Data-informed approach to people decisions and the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver practical management training for clinic leadership.
• Upskill managers to handle performance, sickness, team dynamics and communication.
• Partner with L&D to ensure training is embedded and effective.
• Drive early resolution and coach managers through live cases.
• Maintain accurate case records and identify training/process improvements.
• Embed culture consistency across clinics as the group scales.
• Support new clinic openings and onboarding of managers.
• Provide HR policy guidance and ensure compliance with UK law.
• Leverage HR metrics to surface insights and inform decisions.
