Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service around 65 pubs/hotels across the Yorkshire region, based from Leeds. You'll carry out repairs from carpentry to plumbing, ensuring safety and compliance while supporting site teams.

The role includes a company van, training, and occasional overnight stays. You will report to the Senior Maintenance Technician and collaborate with the Building Maintenance team to meet service levels. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, small electrical repairs, painting and decorating.
• Ability to understand and adhere to H&S and regulatory standards.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving to address defects.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Maintenance Technician and oversee upkeep of ~65 pubs/hotels in Yorkshire.
• Work with pub teams and managers to improve sites and keep customers safe.
• Provision of health and safety training and use of a van to transport tools.
• Investigate, resolve and complete property repairs with minimal business impact.
• Carry out on-site audits and escalate concerns to senior staff.
• Collaborate with Building Maintenance, Helpdesk and Compliance teams to track jobs.
• Procure materials and parts from approved suppliers.
• Work within SLAs and prioritise tasks.
