Job summary

Bromford invites applications for a field-based maintenance and environmental services role covering Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, Coventry and surrounding areas. You will carry out waste removal, grounds maintenance, removals and cleansing, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste removal and general cleaning duties.
• Ability to drive up to 3,500kg vehicles.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• NVQ or BICSc cleaning qualifications desirable.
• Knowledge of COSHH desirable and safe cleaning practices.
• Comfort with using mobile devices and basic IT.
• Willingness to travel across covering areas.
• Able to pass DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out waste removal, grounds maintenance, removals, and general cleansing duties across void and occupied properties.
• Ensure all areas are left clean, safe, and free from debris following each visit.
• Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and in line with training and procedures.
• Complete waste collection, transport, and disposal in accordance with relevant guidelines.
• Support routine maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment, reporting any faults or hazards.
• Complete accurate records and documentation as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, safeguarding responsibilities, and organisational standards.
