Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our Canterbury-area portfolio. This field-based role covers planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, with a focus on safety, reliability and first-line response to faults.

You will hold an apprenticeship or recognised qualification in M&E and 18th Edition, drive between client sites, and take part in on-call duties (1 in 4 weeks).

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance.
18th Edition qualification is essential.
Desirable: F-Gas, Test & Inspection, Unvented systems.
Previous retail or commercial experience preferred.
Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Provide technical support across multiple sites.
Liaise with customers to deliver outstanding service.
Mentor apprentices and junior engineers.
