Job summary

Arcus FM in Bristol is seeking a skilled AC-bias M&E Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio, ensuring high-quality service and rapid first-line response to emergencies.

Ideal candidates have recognised M&E qualifications and can work across multiple sites with travel between client locations, including on-call weeks. The role includes up‑to 4% bonus and a company van, with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance.
• Essential: F-Gas qualification.
• Desirable: 18th Edition, Test & Inspection, Unvented.
• Retail or commercial experience preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong problem‑solving and ability to work independently.
• IT proficiency and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems
• Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Providing technical support and expertise across multiple sites
• Liaising with customers to deliver outstanding service
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers
