Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd seeks a proactive Visiting Officer to support tenancy sign-ups and home moves across Surrey and Sussex. The role involves field-based work, visiting properties, and handling pre-void inspections to ensure readiness for new residents.

You will manage viewings, tenancy documentation, and Right to Rent checks while delivering a professional customer experience across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, lettings, property management or similar housing environment.
• Confident completing tenancy documentation (sign-up packs, core forms, tenancy agreements).
• Understanding of Right to Rent checks and accurate documentation.
• Able to travel across Surrey and Sussex five days per week with a car.
• Be professional, approachable and focused on customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-void inspections for the Home Moves team across the South East.
• Conduct property viewings for prospective residents.
• Complete tenancy sign-ups and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Prepare tenancy sign-up packs and core forms.
• Carry out Right to Rent checks as required.
• Complete tenancy agreements and ensure paperwork is signed and processed.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service to residents.
• Liaise with internal teams to support lettings and home moves processes.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all procedures.
