Job summary

Kensa, the UK’s leading ground source heat pump manufacturer, seeks an ambitious installer-facing business development specialist to build and grow a high‑value partner network across the UK. You will recruit installers, onboard them and develop long-term relationships that drive premium projects.

This role requires technical credibility, proactive outreach, and the ability to work across England, Wales and Scotland.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field-based business development or specification in renewables or HVAC.
• Experience building relationships with installers, contractors or technical SME business owners.
• Proactive, opportunity-led approach with ability to generate measurable growth.
• Strong understanding of how installer businesses make product decisions and requires technical support.

Responsibilities

• Grow installer partner network across England, Wales and Scotland by identifying, approaching and recruiting high-quality renewable heating businesses.
• Build a strong pipeline through outreach, field visits, events, referrals and training engagement.
• Take partners from first contact through to training, first installation and repeat use of Kensa products.
• Develop long-term commercial relationships with installer owners, directors and technical decision-makers.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, marketing and commercial teams to support installers and boost confidence to choose Kensa.
• Provide feedback from installers on objections, pricing, training needs and partner experience.
• Promote installer training, technical support, sales tools, product developments and partner incentives.
• Track partner activity, installation volumes, network coverage and pipeline progress via CRM and reports.
• Attend industry events to maintain visibility within the UK heat pump and installer community.
