Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive proactive, profitable sales of Packaged Gases, CryoEase, and differentiated equipment in the UK market. The role covers the Southeast region with London and Essex, requiring strong commercial focus and sales leadership across multiple customer channels.

You will prospect, quote, and close opportunities, work with Retail Relationship Managers, and use CRM and SAP tools to manage pipeline and contracts while travelling up to 75% of

Qualifications

• Experience selling into B2B markets using consultative techniques.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential.
• Self-motivated, target-driven with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of customer organisations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively sell packaged gases and CryoEase installations to new customers.
• Complete and archive supply agreements, technical specs, and contracts in the CRM.
• Meet personal revenue targets for packaged gases and CryoEase tanks.
• Demonstrate differentiating offerings and engage Applications/Commercial teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Retail Relationship Managers to drive annual retail growth.
• Maintain a healthy CRM pipeline and timely activity records.
• Travel across the allocated region (~75% of time).
