Job summary

Tai Pawb is seeking a Project Worker to provide support to individuals experiencing homelessness across Caerphilly Homelessness services. The role requires rota shifts, including days, evenings and weekend availability, in a psychologically informed environment.

You will join a team to help clients move towards stable tenancies, coordinating with agencies and welfare services. The role offers learning opportunities and community impact within a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housing-related support and benefits system.
• Organised and have good IT skills.
• Passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible.
• Enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives.
• Strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.
• Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.
• Driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Undertake support pre and post resettlement.
• Engage clients in setting up a client consortium to access further funding for wellbeing activities.
• Liaise with external agencies through effective relationship building and networking.
