Overview

This role involves diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing plant and forklift machinery, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

The package includes:

• 24 days annual leave plus public holidays (total 32 days)

The duties:

• Diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing plant and forklift machinery
• Collaborating with customers regarding plant operation and handling products
• Working independently on-site and with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions
• Traveling to sites to carry out repairs and create solutions
• Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics, hydraulics, and performing mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs

The requirements:

• Previous experience in the Plant or Forklift industries (essential)
• Experience with hydraulics, and mechanical and electrical systems (essential)
• Experience with engines and batteries (essential)
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Drivers License
