Job summary

NFU Mutual in Barnstaple is seeking a Financial Adviser to deliver holistic financial planning to existing customers, advising on life, pensions, investments and inheritance tax. You’ll work field-based across Barnstaple, Bideford and surrounding areas, building trusted relationships with a panel of NFU Mutual Agents and warm leads to grow your book and earnings.

The role requires full FPC/CAS and QCA Level 4, and a driving licence; you’ll receive a competitive salary, company car scheme, and

Qualifications

• Fully FPC (or equivalent) qualification plus full CAS, full QCA Level 4 qualification (e.g. CII Diploma in Financial Planning)
• Experience delivering regulated financial advice to UK customers face to face with a proven track record of financial results
• Strong knowledge of UK financial services regulatory and compliance framework
• Good knowledge of end-to-end sales processes, preferably with introducers
• Knowledge of developments in the UK financial services industry
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning advice to NFU Mutual customers
• Advise on life insurance, pensions, investments, wealth management and inheritance tax
• Develop relationships with NFU Mutual Agencies and their customers
