Job summary

Maximus UK is recruiting Employment Specialists for field-based roles across the Preston area. You will deliver Supported Employment through the SEQF framework, from vocational profiling to in-work support, engaging with diverse stakeholders to promote equality and employment opportunities.

The role requires a driving licence and travel across local delivery areas, with a commitment to empowering vulnerable adults toward sustainable employment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with quality standards and KPIs.
• Experience of organising workload and prioritising tasks.
• Passion for empowering people with disabilities or barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SEQF quality framework; develop vocational profiles and identify support needs.
• Provide job-matching services aligned with client skills and employer needs.
• Deliver one-to-one pre-employment support.
• Offer on-the-job support including coaching, adjustments and mentoring.
• Provide benefits calculations and disclosure support.
• Meet and exceed KPIs.
• Ensure accurate data entry and documentation.
• Engage with partners and employers to advocate for caseloads.
• Facilitate community integration and referrals to local services.
• Use recruitment activities to match participants to vacancies and potential employers.
• Engage employers to negotiate work trials and on-site training.
• Signpost participants to partner services and develop support networks.
• Provide mentoring and promote circles of support; uphold zero rejection philosophy.
