Job summary

MAXIMUS is a global organisation delivering health and employment services. Based in Bradford, this full-time role supports customers to overcome barriers to employment, coaching them to prepare for interviews and job searching with personalised action plans and access to local services.

You will work from local hubs, manage a caseload, and develop relationships with employers while meeting targets and maintaining high standards of customer care.

Responsibilities

• Meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators
• Manage a caseload of customers using a variety of coaching strategies, ensuring they are prepared for interviews and job searching
• Undertake in-depth assessments using a suite of tools to understand a customer’s circumstances, preferences and barriers
• Co-produce personalised SMART action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities
• Utilise local specialist services to obtain support addressing issues (e.g. substance misuse, debt, health)
• Identify employer recruitment needs and undertake tailored pre-screens and group assessments
• Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employers
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure high-quality customer service
• Comply with company policies including data security, safeguarding and health & safety
• Work from local hubs and community outreach locations to increase accessibility
• Maintain customer-centric service delivery and teamwork
• Possess previous experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments
• Demonstrate experience in welfare-to-work or employability sectors (desirable)
• Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools (Teams/Zoom/Google)
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities
• Creative problem-solving and ability to overcome barriers
• Ability to plan and organise workload to meet targets and deadlines
• Recruitment background and sector knowledge desirable
