Job summary

Adtalent Recruitment is seeking a Contract Director to lead a major cleaning services operation field-based across the UK. You will translate strategic objectives into operational plans, drive P&L performance, and ensure delivery within budgets and service standards.

You will manage large, geographically dispersed teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, and partner with customers and central teams to secure growth and renewals.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management or a similar service-led environment.
• Proven experience managing and delivering a P&L account.
• Experience managing large, remotely based operational teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the division’s operational and financial performance.
• Manage and deliver the P&L account for the division.
• Develop and implement short, medium and long-term operational plans.
• Oversee mobilisation of major new contracts from tender to delivery.
• Ensure high standards of cleaning and customer service; build customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements.
