Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• At least 4 years’ varied experience across a range of customer types and therapy areas.
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical market and related procedures.
• Experience promoting high-cost medicines with NICE or SMC technology appraisals in specialised therapy areas.
• Must hold, or obtain ABPI qualification.
• Existing relationships with key consultants in territory desirable.
• Engagement with market access and NHS implementation desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for managing and developing sales growth of allocated products within a defined territory, delivering revenue and KPI objectives.
• Identify and prioritise target customers within the territory, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Understand patient pathways within key accounts and identify target pools of patients.
• Produce hospital account plans for key accounts and deliver agreed tactics.
• Achieve targets for volume and frequency of customer contact.
• Organise and deliver group events in line with ABPI Code of Practice.
