Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) to join a Mental Health Support Team. The role involves working with schools and communities on children's emotional wellbeing, under the supervision of registered practitioners, chiefly within the Triage and Duty Service, with travel between settings.

Applicants should have experience in mental health and own transport to meet service needs. UK work permission is required.

Qualificações

• Experience working in a mental health setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and organised, able to work effectively in a busy service.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, families, schools and partner agencies.
• Understanding of safeguarding and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Gather information following referral to assess mental health needs.
• Provide mental health advice and signposting.
• Support practitioners with delegated clinical and therapeutic activities.
• Support delivery of high-quality mental health care under registered practitioners.
• Help manage referrals efficiently within the Triage and Duty Service.
• Ensure children and families receive timely advice, support and access to appropriate services.
• Promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
