Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to join the MHSTs across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. You will assess and support children, young people and families in schools and community settings, delivering evidence-based mental health interventions.

You will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team with supervision and development opportunities, travelling across the locality as required to meet service

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience supporting children, young people and families.
• Experience in risk assessment, safeguarding, and MDT working.
• Ability to work in schools and community settings within MHSTs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and deliver interventions.
• Support triage and duty functions and review referrals.
• Manage risk and respond to safeguarding concerns to protect children and young people.
• Collaborate with schools, families and partner agencies to provide timely support.
