Job summary

BSRIA is seeking a Building Performance Evaluation Engineer to deliver field testing across Yorkshire, helping clients demonstrate compliance with building regulations and standards. The role focuses on air tightness, sound insulation, ventilation and heat transfer coefficient assessments, with on-site work based around Leeds, York and Castleford triangle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering field testing and data collection on building performance.
• Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO/IEC 17025) and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of field testing services across Yorkshire.
• Validate procedures for testing and reporting.
• Ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and report findings.
• Monitor resources, tools, equipment and materials.
• Suggest improvements to efficiency and service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Support strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Provide technical guidance and training to teams as needed.
