Job summary

DF Capital is seeking a field-based Audit Counselor within its Risk team to perform comprehensive audits of current customers, planning and delivering findings to inform risk and relationship teams. You’ll support process improvements and collaborate with Sales and Operations to manage risk as the business evolves.

You will join a fast-paced, dynamic lender focused on flexible lending structures and strong service standards, contributing to risk management while ensuring accuracy and regulatory

• Manage and perform field-based audits across the portfolio.
• Proactively execute day-to-day audit work, including planning and reporting.
• Report risks identified on a timely basis with accurate information and delivery.
• Improve the efficiency and accuracy of processes by supporting audit and risk framework development.
• Conduct on-site extended audit analysis of financial documents to map clients' financial accounts.
• Prioritize workloads to meet business needs while maintaining risk controls.
• Assist with risk management across the business by adhering to systems and processes.

Our Risk team sits at the heart of the business, overseeing all aspects of the customer journey from consideration to recovery.

You’ll join the DF Capital Risk team performing field-based audit examinations for current customers, reporting your findings back to the risk and relationship teams enabling them to make informed decisions. You will be diligent and respectful in your approach, spotting issues early and enabling the risk team to tailor financial solutions that best fit our customers. You will also collaborate with other teams including Sales and Operations.

Your new role:

• Manage and perform field-based audits across our portfolio

• Proactively execute day-to-day audit work, including planning and reporting

• Report risks identified on a timely basis with accurate information and delivery

• Improve the efficiency and accuracy of our processes by supporting the ongoing development of Audit and Risk frameworks and procedures

• On-site extended audit analysis of financial documentation to provide a clearer picture of our client’s financial accounts

• To provide flexibility and an ability to prioritise workloads to meet the changing needs and demands of the business
• Always assisting with the management of risk around the business via adherence to operational systems and processes
