Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Agricultural Sales Manager to cover Norwich and surrounding areas. This field-based role focuses on selling new and used agricultural machinery, building lasting customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities to grow the business.

You will travel to meet customers, demonstrate equipment when required, and strive to exceed sales targets, while representing the company with professionalism and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and ability to develop sales opportunities.
• Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Previous sales, service or parts experience within the agricultural sector.
• Target-driven and self-motivated.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own area.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• As an Agricultural Sales Manager, you’ll work in a field-based role, managing sales across a designated area and supporting customers with their agricultural machinery requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Visit customers across your designated sales area.
• Sell new and used agricultural machinery and associated equipment.
• Identify and maximise new sales opportunities.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry developments.
• Attend customer-focused events and represent the business professionally.
• Demonstrate machinery and equipment to customers where required.
• Ensure machinery is delivered in line with company and brand standards.
• Work towards and exceed sales performance targets.
• Provide excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone.
