Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Representative in Driffield. This customer-facing role involves travel to client meetings, exhibitions and events, with responsibility for growing revenue from existing and new customers and a consultative approach to product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in B2B or B2C sales, account management or business development.
• Proactive and commercially minded with a desire to generate sales.
• Comfortable travelling 50% for meetings and events.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales of parts, servicing and maintenance.
• Proactively contact existing and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Attend client meetings, visits, exhibitions and industry events.
• Work with internal service and technical teams to resolve queries and identify further opportunities.
• Promote service agreements, maintenance plans and warranties.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
• Analyse purchasing activity to identify opportunities for increased spend.
• Research the market to win new customers from competitors and other sectors.
• Maintain accurate customer information using CRM and internal systems.
• Support customer events, demonstrations and promotional activities.
• Monitor customer requirements throughout the lifecycle of their equipment.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure high levels of service.
• Achieve agreed sales and customer acquisition targets.
