Job summary

Orbital Industries seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver CurieOS into customer environments. You will write production code, design architectures, and build integrations across heterogeneous software and hardware systems in support of industrial R&D efforts.

You will embed with customer teams, translate high-value problems into technical solutions, and drive adoption while learning new domains rapidly.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to ship production software.
• Experience in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with user-driven requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deployments hands-on across industrial R&D.
• Write production code, design architectures, build integrations and debug.
• Design and build systems connecting software, data and physical infra.
• Own engagement from discovery through deployment and adoption.
• Track KPIs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
