Job summary

Orbital Industries seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineering Lead to shape the delivery model for CurieOS deployments. You will work hands-on with customers, design architectures and lead a team that scales across our growing client base.

You will embed with client teams to understand high-value R&D problems, translate them into pragmatic technical plans, set standards, and deliver production-grade solutions end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise software delivery with customer deployments.
• Experience building a forward deployed engineering or solutions function.
• Ability to move between strategy discussions with R&D leadership and debugging sessions with engineers.
• Track record of succeeding in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where requirements evolve with users.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deployments hands-on across industrial R&D.
• Drive customer adoption so CurieOS becomes day-to-day work.
• Own delivery end-to-end; ensure reliability and performance.
• Design systems connecting software, data and physical infrastructure.
• Hire, develop and manage exceptional Forward Deployed Engineers.
