Job summary

Wessex Fire & Security, Field-based air conditioning service engineer across Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset and surrounding areas, performing planned maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on commercial and high-end residential sites.

The role requires a Full Category 1 F-Gas qualification, 3+ years of field experience, strong electrical and refrigeration knowledge, and a clean UK driving licence; you will accurately complete service reports and liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• Full Category 1 F-Gas qualification.
• Minimum 3+ years in field-based AC service and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and electrical schematics.
• Valid UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Service & maintenance of VRV/VRF/multi-split systems and AHUs.
• Fault finding and first-time fixes where possible.
• Carrying out repairs, refrigerant recovery, and pressure testing.
• Complete digital service reports and F-Gas logs accurately.
• Provide expert customer service and professional client liaison.
