Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC organisation, providing planned and reactive engineering support to customers across Herefordshire and the surrounding region.

You will carry out planned maintenance, fault finding and commissioning on HVAC and air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, chillers and split systems. A full UK driving licence and strong customer-facing communication are essential.

Qualifications

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is essential.
• F-Gas qualification is essential.
• Strong HVAC service and maintenance experience is required.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills are needed.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to work independently across customer sites and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
• Commissioning and servicing HVAC and air conditioning equipment.
• Work on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety standards.
• Identify additional service opportunities on customer sites.
• Support apprentices and junior engineers where required.
