Job summary

CityFibre is seeking a Fibre Quality Specialist to diagnose and resolve faults across our UK fibre network, from the Fibre Exchange to customer premises. The role requires travel and includes a fully expensed van, with opportunities for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining network performance, diagnosing issues, and performing complex installations with strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding skills across fibre networks.
• Experience auditing safe systems of works.
• Experience with OTDR/IOLM testing and PIA installations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults across the network, from Fibre Exchange to end-user premises.
• Manage complex installations and repairs, following safety protocols and completing tasks on the day of service.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to assess network issues efficiently and minimize disruption.

Core network fault finding

PIA – duct and/or pole installations

NRSWA – units 2 and 10

SA001 and SA002 Smart Awards
