Our client is an ambitious Alt-Net, aiming to connect 25,000 new homes in 2025. They are seeking a Fibre Planner to help expand their team and achieve this annual goal.

With major network rollouts and a commitment to innovation, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape planning strategies. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure fibre projects are delivered accurately, on time, and according to design specifications.
2. Coordinate and schedule planning tasks across multiple projects.
3. Prioritize workloads and monitor the progress of planning activities.
4. Take ownership of planning from execution through to delivery.
5. Create detailed fibre network maps for civils, fibre build, and customer installations.
6. Support field teams with clear, accurate mapping and planning data.
7. Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and third parties.
8. Plan and manage network changes, upgrades, and expansions.
9. Ensure all planning complies with design standards and methodologies.

Skills/Must have:

• Deep understanding of end-to-end fibre network build processes.
• Strong motivation and ability to deliver consistently within KPIs.
• Proven success in the telecom sector, especially in project delivery or planning roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Experience with GIS platforms and mapping tools.
• Proficiency in desktop planning tools and processes.
• Ability to prepare detailed job packs to support engineering and build teams.
