Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood in Livingston, UK, seeks a Fibre Manager to lead fibre and data infrastructure projects across multiple contracts. The role combines site oversight with planning, commercial control and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will manage day-to-day operations, programme updates, supplier liaison, and risk management, while guiding a team to meet high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ Project Manager experience across multiple projects.
• Experience delivering fibre/data projects and understanding of installations/SCADA on wind or solar farms.
• Proficiency in project programming with Asta PowerProject or MS Project; fit-out and design-build knowledge desirable.
• Commercial acumen with ability to price work, manage P&L and control costs.
• Strong client-facing, sales, communication and leadership skills; ability to win work.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fibre and data projects, delivering on time, on budget and to quality.
• Oversee commercial forecasting, procurement, subcontractors, materials, and programme updates with internal teams.
• Lead client, subcontractor and internal meetings; ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
