Job summary

Surge Data Centre Services is looking for experienced Cabling Engineers to work across data centre and commercial projects throughout London. The role focuses on installing fibre-optic cabling, delivering full fibre-backbone installations, routing and securing cabling, and testing fibre connections.

The ideal candidate will have prior fibre installation experience in data centre or commercial environments, a solid understanding of fibre-backbone infrastructure, and strong attention to

Qualifications

Previous experience with fibre installations.
Experience in data centre or commercial environments.
Strong understanding of fibre-backbone infrastructure.
Good attention to detail and cable-management standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ECS/CSCS card and relevant industry qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Installing fibre-optic cabling within data centres and commercial premises.
Delivering complete fibre-backbone installations.
Routing, dressing and securing fibre cabling.
Fibre termination, splicing and testing.
Labelling installations and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Reading drawings and following site specifications.
Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team.
