Job summary

Rack Native Ltd in Derby is seeking an experienced Data & Fibre Engineer to join our growing team. You will work on a range of projects across commercial, data centre and technical environments.

The role involves installing and testing copper and fibre cabling, working from drawings, and delivering high-quality workmanship. Applicants should have data cabling experience, relevant safety cards (ECS/CSCS), and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous data cabling experience.
• Strong copper and fibre skills.
• ECS/CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Cat6/Cat6A installation and termination.
• Copper testing and fault finding.
• Fibre installation, termination and splicing.
• Fibre testing.
• Cabinet and patch panel installation.
• Containment including tray, basket and trunking.
• Working from drawings and specifications.
• Completing works to a high standard.
