Borough Kitchen Limited in London is seeking Temporary Christmas Sales Associates to support our busy festive season. The role offers part-time or full-time hours, including weekends and bank holidays, at £14.80 per hour.

This fixed-term contract runs from November to December 2026, with flexibility to work additional shifts during peak periods. We value a genuine passion for food and entertaining, a friendly and proactive team player who communicates well with customers.

Qualifications

• Passion for food, cooking and entertaining.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and as part of a team.
• Retail experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experience through friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service.
• Welcoming customers, understanding their needs and confidently recommending suitable products.
• Building positive relationships with customers and encouraging repeat visits.
• Replenishing stock and keeping the shop floor well-presented, organised and ready for trading.
• Supporting the team with merchandising, displays and maintaining store standards.
• Processing purchases, arranging deliveries and assisting with after-sales enquiries.
• Identifying opportunities to recommend complementary products and items from our online shop.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, particularly during busy trading periods.
