Job summary
Mears Group is seeking a Fencing Labourer to support our fencing team in Brentwood. The role involves installation, repair and maintenance of fencing systems, measuring lines, digging holes and helping install panels and gates.
You will work outdoors, load materials, and ensure sites are clean and safe. The ideal candidate will hold a Full UK driving licence, have prior labouring/construction or fencing experience, and be able to perform physically demanding work while adhering to health and
Qualifications
- Must have a Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in labouring, construction or fencing.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices on site.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in social housing is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist fencing team with installation, repair and maintenance of timber, metal and chain link fencing.
- Help measure and mark fence lines, dig post holes, prepare materials and install fence panels and gates.
- Prepare work areas, load/unload materials, maintain tools and equipment, clear debris and keep sites tidy.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
