Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking a Fencing Labourer for Deeside/Chester. Temporary but full-time, immediate start with DOE salary. You will assist with installation, repair and maintenance of fencing across domestic, commercial, and security projects, working outdoors in all weather as part of a team.

The role requires physical fitness, a CSCS card and a strong safety mindset. Expect site travel and potential overtime to meet deadlines, with progression opportunities within a reputable fencing

Qualifications

• Previous labouring experience within construction, fencing, landscaping, or a similar environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of domestic, commercial, agricultural, and security fencing.
• Digging post holes and preparing groundworks for fence installation.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting fencing materials and equipment.
• Mixing concrete and securing fence posts in line with company standards.
• Working safely, taking all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury.
• Liaising with Site Supervisors regarding daily works and project requirements.
• Maintaining clean and organised work areas at all times.
• Communicating effectively with team members, contractors, and customers.
• Maintaining excellent timekeeping as detailed in work schedules issued in advance.
• Proactively identifying and reporting any site hazards, material shortages, or project issues.
• Maintaining a professional appearance by complying fully with company standards.
• Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to travel to various sites when required.
• Supporting experienced installers and learning new skills to aid career development.
• Being willing to work additional hours when required to meet project deadlines.
• Undertaking any other ad‑hoc duties as directed by the company.
