Job summary

Dimensions invites caring, enthusiastic and reliable Female Support Workers to join our Worcester team. You will support five women with learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs in a busy home environment.

Role involves personal care, medication administration, PEG feeding support, meals, and daily activities. Full training provided; opportunities for progression and a Great Place to Work recognition.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with learning disabilities is helpful.
• Experience with autism or complex health needs is beneficial but not required.
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support five women with learning disabilities, autistic people and complex health needs.
• Administer medication including insulin and midazolam.
• Support PEG feeding and use hoists/manual handling equipment.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily routines and health needs.
• Encourage participation in activities and social outings.
• Work as part of a busy, supportive team to create positive experiences.

Job description

We're looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Female Support Workers to join our team in Worcester (WR3), supporting five women in their 20s and 30s with learning disabilities, autistic people and complex health needs. This is a busy, vibrant home where there's always something happening. The women you support enjoy spending time together, trying new experiences and maintaining strong relationships with family and friends. They enjoy:

• Baking and cooking
• Arts and crafts
• Music and entertainment
• Cinema trips
• Days out and holidays
• Spending time with family
• Socialising and enjoying life together

Support includes:

• Supporting four people with their personal care
• Administering medication, including insulin and midazolam
• Supporting one person with PEG feeding
• Using hoists and manual handling equipment
• Supporting one wheelchair user
• Meal preparation
• Supporting people with daily routines and health needs
• Supporting people to do the things they enjoy and achieve their goals

No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a team committed to creating positive experiences and opportunities for the people we support.

Shifts:

• 7:30am - 3:00pm
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Long days
• Sleep-ins: 10:00pm - 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance.
