Job summary

Avenues Group in Sevenoaks is seeking a Female Support Worker for waking nights to assist adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and related care needs in a residential setting. The role is evening-to-night shifts and requires a full UK driving licence for travel between sites.

Location is a five-minute walk from Sevenoaks station. Training will be provided, including Health and Social Care qualifications, with opportunities to develop a rewarding long-term career with Avenues.

• Providing reassurance and support throughout the night
• Completing regular wellbeing and safety checks in line with individual support plans
• Supporting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner where required
• Responding calmly and appropriately to any overnight needs or emergencies
• Completing accurate records and handovers to ensure continuity of care
• Helping maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
• Working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality, person-centred support

Female Support Worker - Waking Nights | Sevenoaks

£25,845 per annum (pro rata) | Full-time - 39 hours per week

Waking Night Shifts: 10:00pm - 7:00am

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role to travel to and from shifts.

About the Role

We're looking for caring and committed Female Support Workers to join our waking night team in Sevenoaks, supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, communication needs and those receiving end-of-life care within a residential service.

Located just a five-minute walk from Sevenoaks railway station, the service provides person-centred support in a safe and welcoming environment. During the night, you'll play a vital role in ensuring people feel safe, comfortable and well supported, responding to individual needs while promoting dignity and independence.
