Job summary

Age UK is seeking a dedicated female Support Worker to assist a 40-year-old gentleman who requires 24-hour support. The role includes daytime support and on-site overnight sleepovers, with a base pay of £13.47 per hour and £45 per night for sleepovers.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living tasks, household duties, and accompanying the client to appointments and social activities. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Female candidate aged 21 or over.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a flexible approach.
• Willingness to provide overnight sleepover support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to enable the client to live independently.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as needed.
• Support with housework, gardening, shopping and meal prep.
• Support with holidays, appointments, social activities and outings.
• Provide companionship and encourage independence.
• Drive client to appointments and activities as required.
