Job summary

Lifeways Preston is hiring for a full-time support role in our Preston services, helping adults live independently with personalised support in their own homes or flats.

We offer flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins) and a structured induction with ongoing training to help you develop in care. Your role emphasizes choice, dignity and respect, within a caring team and supportive environment.

• Support adults across Lifeways Preston services in their own homes or self-contained flats with tailored support.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks; accompany appointments.

Shift Details

This is a full-time role with 37.5 contracted hours per week, with shifts available between 8:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

Rotational shifts: Days, evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support.

We also offer sessional/bank hours, providing flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

You’ll be supporting adults across our Preston supported living services, where people live independently in their own homes or self‑contained apartments with support tailored to their needs.

In Preston, Lifeways supports people with:

• Learning disabilities
• Autism
• Physical disabilities
• Acquired brain injuries
• Mental health needs

Our Preston services offer:

• Modern, comfortable environments

• Personal care routines
