Job summary

Lifeways is recruiting Female Support Workers at Abbey Park Road in Leicester. You will help individuals with learning disabilities build independence, maintain wellbeing, and engage in meaningful activities each day.

Shifts include 7am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10pm, and a 10pm-7am waking night on a rota basis, with coverage Monday to Sunday. A compassionate, proactive approach is essential for this rewarding role.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence, dignity, and positive engagement in daily activities.
• Provide personal care for females and males, including prompting with self‑care routines and assisting with washing during bathing.
• Prepare meals and drinks in line with preferences and dietary needs.

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates with previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and who can remain calm, proactive, and positive in their approach.

Shift pattern

• Days shifts: 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm
• Waking night: 10pm-7am
• You must be flexible to work all shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.
