Job summary

Affinity Trust in Hessle (near Hull) is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist two individuals in their own bungalow. You’ll help with daily activities, enable independence, and support enjoyable outings such as visits to the park, bowling, cinema, and community activities.

We provide full training (NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care); a valid UK driving licence with access to a car is required. This full-time role (37.5 hrs) offers a starting rate of £12.90 per hour, increasing to £13.00

Rate: £12.90 per hour (The rate will be increasing to £13:00 from 26th October 2026)

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs)

You will be supporting 2 individuals in their own bungalow in Hessle just outside of Hull who like to go to the park, bowling, cinema and community farm and much more.

Hessle has its own little centre full of shops and restaurants and on a bus route and with its own train station. We provide complete training to enable you to provide the best support you can to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. However, we know that what is essential is your kindness, energy, and willingness to make someone's day brighter.
