Package Description JOB ROLE: Female Support Worker HOURS: 35 hours per week LOCATION: Carmarthen SA33 6JA SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour Please note we require a female support worker due to a genuine occupational requirement for the person we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule .

About Us: Trevelyan is a residential care home near Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, supporting six adults with mental health needs.

The home helps people build the coping techniques and living skills that make a practical difference to daily life and wellbeing.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.

Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.

Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.

Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.

Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.

Assisting with personal care as required.

Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.

Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
