A leading company is seeking a Female Support Worker in Wolverhampton to assist clients with brain injuries. The role involves providing support in home and community settings, requiring a psychology background and UK driving license. Flexible working hours are available.
NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Female Support Worker
Location: Wolverhampton, WV10
Hourly Rate: 12.50- 14 per hour depending on experience.
Driver Essential? Yes

Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:
Tuesday: 14:00pm - 20:00pm
Thursday: 14:00pm - 20:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 19:00pm
About you-Essential Experience:
Our client is a 15 year old male, who sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury in a road traffic incident. His family is seeking a female support worker, with experience in supporting young people with brain injuries, and also have experience of working with a full MDT, and attending MDT meetings and taking detailed notes at these. Any tasks and activites recommended at these meetings will be supported by the support worker.
The successful candidate must possess a current and valid driving license, as the client will need to be escorted to his physio and medical appointments.
The client also requires support with accessing the local community, and maintaining his social life and interests, including horse riding.
