The gentleman you will be supporting does not communicate using words, but he has his own unique ways of expressing his needs, preferences and choices. Building an understanding of how he communicates will be an important part of the role. If you haven't supported someone who communicates in this way before, don't worry, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
As a Female Support Worker, you'll be supporting people both at home and in the community, helping them maintain their independence while achieving their personal goals.
You will be expected to work in line with individual support plans and adopt a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach at all times.

This is a part‑time role working 32 hours per week on a mixture of shifts including:

As the people we support have their own vehicles, it is essential that applicants hold a full UK/EU manual driving licence and are confident driving in the community.
