Job summary

CYGNET is hiring a female Support Worker for our Newham House facility in the UK. You will work 42 hours per week on day and night shifts, delivering care to women with ABI and related neurological conditions in a 20-bed neuropsychiatric setting.

Join us to provide compassionate, person-centred support, monitor medical needs, and support residents to maximise independence while benefiting from development opportunities and employee discounts.

Qualifications

  • Female applicants only due to genuine occupational needs.
  • Care experience preferred in a similar setting.
  • DBS check required (enhanced).

Responsibilities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents.
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs.
  • Safeguard residents and report welfare needs as required.
