Job summary

SeeAbility is seeking a Female Support Worker to provide person-centred care at Barclay House in Seaford, East Sussex. The role focuses on daily routines, activities and therapeutic relationships for adults with disabilities, including sight loss.

Working Saturdays with guaranteed hours, you’ll join a supportive team and receive paid training, with earnings accessible through Wagestream. Driving is required for daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a care/support setting.
  • Strong English communication (spoken and written).
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily routines from morning to bedtime.
  • Plan person-centred activities to boost wellbeing.
  • Contribute to tailored support plans.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with service users.
  • Keep accurate support notes.
  • Drive a pool car / personal car for daily activities.

Location: Seaford, East Sussex

Salary: £13.09 per hour (£10,210.20 per annum, pro-rated) plus benefits.

Hours: Saturday only 7.00am - 10.00pm, guaranteed hours– stability you can count on

Driving Licence: Manual UK licence is essential

Visa Sponsorships: Applicants must already be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
