Job summary

HomeCare Direct in Preston is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help a client live independently with daily routines, 1:1 support, and personal care. You will assist with medication administration and seizure awareness while facilitating safe community involvement and meaningful activities.

The role requires flexibility for weekend shifts and working with a client who enjoys drives, parks, and outings with family. Prior care experience is valued.

  • Knowledge of epilepsy and learning disabilities desirable

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: 24 hours Shifts: Monday to Sunday, flexibility required. This roleincludes working regular weekends as part of the rota. Days and shifts will bediscussed and agreed with the client, with advance planning wherever possible Location: Preston PR1

Meet Our Client

You will be supportinga woman in her 40s who lives at home with her family. She is looking forsupport to help her live a fulfilling and enjoyable life while staying safe andindependent. She has learning disabilities and epilepsy, so requires consistentsupport with her wellbeing and daily routines. She enjoys spending time in thecommunity, including going out for drives, visiting local parks and exploringlocal shops. She also enjoys an annual family holiday with her relatives
