Job summary

Homecare Direct Limited in Ipswich is seeking a compassionate and reliable Driver Essential to support a client at IP1 on a 14.5-hour weekly schedule. The role combines 1:1 daily living support, personal care, medication administration, and light household tasks to help maintain independence and enjoyment of hobbies.

You will drive the client with a full UK driving licence (21+ for insurance) and work with the client and care team to enable social activities, outings, and a love of horses,

Qualifications

• 1:1 daily living support and care responsibilities.
• Infection control procedures must be followed.
• Ability to be sociable, friendly and organised.
• Animal-friendly approach due to client’s pets.
• Care experience is desirable but not mandatory.

You’ll be supporting a warm and determined individual who lives withtheir partner and assistance dog in a lively, pet filled home.They have areal passion for horses and the outdoors, regularly taking part in carriagedriving and enjoying time in the countryside.

They also love arts and crafts, baking, and creating gifts, as well asrelaxing with films or getting out to the cinema or theatre. With a love fortravel and regular trips away in their caravan, they’re always looking to makethe most of life.
