Job summary

Penderels Trust is seeking a Female Personal Care Assistant to support a ten-year-old girl in accessing after-school clubs. The role involves 1:1 support for a child who is blind and deaf, along with assistance during activities like dancing, drama or horse riding.

Sighted guide training can be provided by a mobility teacher if needed. The position is part-time, on-site in Warwickshire, and part of the Disability Confident employer scheme.

She also has anxiety, autism and ADHD. She has no behavioural issues and can communicate normally. She wears a hearing aid and uses a long white cane. Sighted guide training can be delivered by specialist mobility teacher, if required. Our daughter attends a special school, and we would like someone to take her to after-school/weekend clubs such as dancing, drama or horse riding. She loves stories, chatting, comedy, music, performing, Minecraft, Harry Potter and animals.
